Join us on the first Friday in December for a slightly different games night...
As the scarecrow competition in place of games night in October was such a great success, we thought we'd have a festive games night in December and a 'make your own Christmas Jumper' competition!
You can either make your jumper at home and bring it along with you, or join us with your blank jumper/top at Holyoake on the Friday evening, where we'll have lost of art supplies available to help you bring your creation to life. We will have plain some children's tops available to decorate, but ask that if adults want to take part they please bring their own.
We'll then have some party food, music, and a fun game or two and you can view all the other entries too!
We'll take some photos and set up an online vote - the jumpers with the most votes by the end of the week will win a prize!
We had such a wonderful Window Wander in February 2024, that we're already planning for February 2025!
We were thrilled with how many people got involved in our first wander, and from the feedback we've received we think that the next one will be even more 'wanderful!'
We'll proved materials and workshops to help those who'd like to make a window display, and we hope even more of the community will join us over the two evenings in February 2025, when the displays will be lit up all around South Pelaw, to bring joy to our lovely community in the dark winter months.
The Window Wander for 2025 is set to take place over the 7th-8th February and we'll let you know about the workshops or how to collect your materials nearer the time.
